The importance of open communications between the police and the public
they serve is of paramount importance. Transparency in the functions of the
police department is critical in establishing trust with the citizenry.
Responsiveness of the police to the public need for safety, security and quality
of life is a primary objective of the Amity Township Police Department.
One of my roles as Chief of Police is to listen to the concerns of the public and
translate those concerns into productive approaches for the officers who serve
you. An equally important role for me is to provide the officers with the support,
guidance and training that enable them to meet the public safety needs with
compassion, knowledge and wisdom.
