Recreation Board
The Township of Amity has five members on the Parks and Recreation Board who are residents of the Township. They are appointed for five-year terms by the Board of Supervisors. The Park and Recreation Board:

Recommends to the Board of Supervisors capital improvement projects relevant to parks and recreation;

Oversees the scheduling, staffing and use of the Township Parks;

Prepares the open space recreation plans of the Township to be adopted by the Board of Supervisors;

Reviews and makes recommendations on land development and subdivision plans in regard to parks and recreation;

Conduct other park and recreation studies and projects.

The Park and Recreation Board meets the first Monday of the month at 7:00PM.
