Amity Township Preliminary and Final Subdivision and Land Development Submission Procedures
The following procedures are in complians with the Amity Township Subdivision/Land Development Ordinance.
1. Ten (10) paper sts plus one (1) electronic dated copy of the subdivision plan must be submitted to the Township seven (7) calendar days prior to the regularly scheduled meeting of the Planning Commission. Copies to be distributed to the Engineer, Solicitor and Sewer Engineer for review of sumission for completeness.
2. The plan must contail the following items to be deemed complete. If the plans are determined to be incomplete they may be subject to not being accepted by the Planning Commission for review.
a) The proper application fors shall accompany all submissions, letter(s) of transmittal, and review and application fees as determined by the Township.
b) All items included on the checklist.
3. The Planning Commission Secretary must be notified seven (7) calendar days prior to the regularly scheduled meeting, to place the Subdivision Plan on the Planning Commission's agenda.
4. The Planning Commission holds their regular scheduled meeting accepts or rejects the plan. Once the plan is accepted the 90-clock begins.
5. The applicant shall be responsible for submitting and distributing the proposed plan to the Berks County Planning Commission, Amity Township Fire Marshal, Berks County Soil Conservation District and all pertinent reviewing bodies, as specified by the Subdivision/Land Development ordinance or required by law, following the official acceptance of the plan.
6. Ten (10) paper sets plus one (1) electronic dated copy of revised plans must be submitted to the Township fourteen (14) days prior to the regular scheduled meeting.
7. Five (5) copies of all supporting documents or reports are required with the submission.
8. All revised copies must be submitted to the Township.
