I understand that it is my responsibility to schedule the required inspections listed on the back of the building permit weather card and I may not proceed until the inspector has approved each required inspection.
Dimension to beam (s) (feet):
Note: Posts must be anchored to footings to prevent uplift. All hangers, bolts, anchors, flashings and fasteners that are in contact with ACQ pressure treated lumber must be hot-dipped galvanized, stainless steel, silicon bronze, coper or labeled "approved for contact with ACQ lumber".

A railing or guard must be constructed for all deck areas that are 30" or more above grade. Guards must be not less than 36" in height, will not allow a 4" sphere to pass through at any location and must be able to withstand a 200 PSF load in any direction. 4 x 4 posts used for railing support may not be notched.

Handrails must be provided on at least one side of each continuous run of treads or flight with four or more risers.
(if multiple decks or tiers, submit drawings also)
