The Township of Amity has five members on the Parks and Recreation Board who are residents of the Township. They are appointed for  five year terms by the Board of Supervisors.

The Parks and Recreation Board:

•	Recommends to the Board of Supervisors capital improvement projects relevant to parks and recreation
•	Oversees the scheduling, staffing and the use of the Township parks
•	Prepares the open space recreation plans of the Township to be adopted by the Board of Supervisors
•	Reviews and makes recommendations on land development and subdivision plans in regard to parks and recreation
•	Conducts other park and recreation studies and projects

The Parks and Recreation Board meets on the first Monday of the month at 7:00pm.
